Mission

Richmond Shares is dedicated to serving low income families in Richmond. This website was developed as a result of wanting to encourage community giving and sharing above and beyond the peak seasons of giving to a year round practice.

It is a place where community members can benefit, either by donating items or receiving items.

All program efforts stay in the community, and can help a wide range of people in need, including new immigrants, refugees, women coming out of transition houses, fire victims, single mothers, single fathers, and seniors.

History

The Richmond Shares website project was established in 2006. It is operated by the Richmond Women’s Resource Centre.
